New report reviewing earlier Irish data into association between Pandemrix and Narcolepsy published

A new report has been published entitled “INVESTIGATION OF AN ASSOCIATION BETWEEN ONSET OF NARCOLEPSY AND VACCINATION WITH PANDEMIC INFLUENZA VACCINE, IRELAND APRIL 2009-DECEMBER 2010“.

This appears to be a thorough review of the original case data. It reiterates what it describes as “the crude association between Pandemrix vaccination and narcolepsy as observed in Finland and Sweden”. It states that the relative risk of children/adolescents developing Narcolepsy after having Pandemrix is 13.9 times higher than those who did not have this vaccination. The report can be found in full here.
