  • Narcolepsy - Prior to 2009/2010,
very few young people had ever been
    diagnosed with Narcolepsy.
  • Excessive Daytime Sleepiness - Some weeks or months after receiving the H1N1 Swine Flu vaccine
Pandemrix, children and teenagers started falling asleep at unusual times, in unusual places.
  • Uncharacteristic Moods
    Along with the tiredness,
    some of those affected rapidly
    become irrationally moody.
  • Hypnagogic Hallucinations and Sleep Paralysis - Many of the sufferers started getting horrific,
real-feeling hallucinations as they were going to sleep, while often being paralised for several minutes.
  • Cataplexy - Many of those affected started to lose muscle tone following strong emotions.
Severity varies from tongues hanging out, to complete collapses.
